We Deliver Aid to Families Affected by the Earthquake

The Puerto Barú in David team joined relief efforts for families affected by the earthquake recently recorded in the country by delivering a donation to the collection center located at the Chiriquí Governor’s Office.

The donation was delivered to the Governor’s Office collection center by Aixa Santamaría, Governor of Chiriquí, who recognized the importance of this contribution and highlighted the gesture of a company with a strong connection to Chiriquí and a genuine commitment to its people, responding when they need it most.

“We stand with our people because the pain of one Chiriquí family is the pain of the entire province,” said Bárbara Elorza, Communications Manager at Puerto Barú, emphasizing that solidarity is everyone’s responsibility: authorities, businesses, and citizens working together to support those who need it most.

Puerto Barú reiterated its commitment to continuing to work alongside authorities and communities in Chiriquí and called on more sectors to join this chain of support, because a community’s strength lies in standing together during difficult times.
