Strengthening the Well-Being of Our Employees Through a New Vaccination Campaign
As part of its commitment to the well-being and health of its workforce, Puerto Barú in David conducted its third vaccination campaign for employees working in field operations. The initiative was coordinated by the Occupational Health and Safety Department in partnership with the Ministry of Health (MINSA), reinforcing the preventive measures that form part of the project’s safety culture.
During the campaign, MINSA healthcare personnel administered vaccines against influenza, measles, hepatitis, tetanus, and pneumococcal disease, helping protect employees from preventable illnesses and strengthening their overall well-being. These actions are particularly important for those engaged in operational and field activities, reducing health risks and promoting safer working environments.
The initiative is part of an ongoing health prevention and promotion program implemented by Puerto Barú in David through its Occupational Health and Safety Department. In addition to encouraging self-care, these campaigns seek to raise awareness about the importance of keeping vaccination schedules up to date and adopting healthy habits that contribute to a better quality of life.
Through initiatives such as this, Puerto Barú reaffirms its commitment to prioritizing the safety and well-being of its employees, recognizing that human capital is one of the fundamental pillars of the project’s responsible and sustainable development.
