With a firm commitment to building a better future for our children, at Puerto Bar\u00fa in David\u2019s New Routes Foundation, we had the honor of being present for a significant milestone: the groundbreaking ceremony for the renovation and equipping of the Burn Unit at Jos\u00e9 Domingo de Obald\u00eda Maternal and Children\u2019s Hospital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For us, being part of this event goes beyond a social commitment; it represents an opportunity to be allies in the recovery of brave young patients. The Burn Unit at Hospital Obald\u00eda is a fundamental pillar of healthcare in the region and the country, treating more than 30% of all pediatric burn cases in Panama.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project, led by Telet\u00f3n 20-30 Chiriqu\u00ed, will include upgrades to the physical facilities, improvements to isolation areas, and the incorporation of state-of-the-art specialized equipment to help reduce recovery times and prevent complications in pediatric patients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Being present for this groundbreaking ceremony is deeply moving for us. Behind every technical figure are the stories of brave children who deserve the best possible care. At the New Routes Foundation, we are honored to be part of this mission and to walk alongside Telet\u00f3n 20-30 Chiriqu\u00ed in opening new paths and bringing peace of mind back to so many families in Panama\u2019s western region,”<\/em> said Astrid Carre\u00f1o, New Routes Foundation representative in Chiriqu\u00ed for Puerto Bar\u00fa in David.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
