Puerto Bar\u00fa in David, through its social arm, the Nuevas Rutas Foundation, signed a sponsorship agreement this Tuesday with the Activo 20-30 Club of Panama, formalizing its support for Telet\u00f3n 20-30 Chiriqu\u00ed 2026.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This important partnership will contribute directly to this year\u2019s target project, focused on equipping and renovating the Burn Unit at the Jos\u00e9 Domingo de Obald\u00eda Maternal and Children\u2019s Hospital. The initiative responds to a critical need identified during technical visits. Thirty percent of all burn cases involving children under 14 in the country are treated at this hospital, which presents concerning figures: 348 patients in 2019, 1,231 in 2020, 871 in 2021, and 1,010 in 2022 in the provinces of Chiriqu\u00ed and Bocas del Toro alone, far exceeding national averages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This project reflects the shared conviction that true development is built by caring for people\u2014especially our children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
