We participated as invited guests in the 5th edition of the Agricultural Forum 2026, “The Countryside is Progress,” organized by the National Council of Private Enterprise (CoNEP).

For Puerto Barú in David, being part of this important forum represents an opportunity to strengthen connections with one of Panama’s most strategic sectors: agriculture. We recognize the historic role that Chiriquí has played as a national production hub and the importance of continuing to promote initiatives that enhance its competitiveness, sustainability, and access to new commercial opportunities.

During the event, discussions focused on topics related to governance in the agricultural sector, Panama’s opportunities in local and international markets, the challenges facing strategic industries, new training and professional development models demanded by the market, as well as the impact of innovation and best practices within the productive sector. These spaces help foster the necessary conversations to strengthen public policies and support the country’s growth.

At Puerto Barú in David, we continue to support a vision of development that integrates infrastructure, logistics, and national production, convinced that strengthening sectors such as agriculture also creates greater opportunities for communities, employment, and economic growth in western Panama.
