Participating in the White Pollera Parade at the David International Fair
As part of the David International Fair, we proudly participated in the traditional White Pollera Parade, one of the most representative festivities of the province and a symbol of Chiriquí’s cultural identity.
During the parade, we accompanied the Chiriquí Journalists Association in this celebration that highlights our traditions, Panamanian folklore, and the pride of being from Chiriquí. The white pollera, the traditional dress that represents the elegance and cultural legacy of Panama, was worn by dozens of women who paraded through the streets of David before thousands of spectators.
Our participation in this event reaffirms our commitment to strengthening Chiriquí’s cultural identity and supporting activities that celebrate and preserve our roots. As an integral part of the community, we recognize the importance of joining spaces that showcase the best of our land and promote a strong sense of regional belonging.
The White Pollera Parade is part of the official program of the David International Fair, an event that year after year brings together thousands of people in a celebration of culture, tradition, and the economic development of the province.
We continue working toward a Chiriquí that grows without losing its roots.
