Puerto Barú actively participated in the International Economic Forum for Latin America and the Caribbean 2026

Puerto Barú actively participated in the International Economic Forum for Latin America and the Caribbean 2026, organized by CAF – Development Bank of Latin America and the Caribbean. This event brought together leaders from the public and private sectors, multilateral organizations, academic institutions, and representatives of the business community to discuss sustainable solutions and regional integration strategies in response to development challenges.

During the event, our executive team—comprising Ismael González (Chief Executive Officer), Bárbara Elorza (Senior Communications Manager), and Carlos Somoza (Community Affairs Manager)—represented Puerto Barú’s vision as a strategic project to drive logistical, economic, and social development in western Panama.

Our presence at this important forum reaffirms Puerto Barú’s commitment to modern, sustainable, and inclusive infrastructure that contributes to positioning Panama as a decentralized, resilient global logistics hub.
